It is a process that supports and allows healing to occur by working with the body's own innate wisdom. As healing occurs the creation of freedom and movement within all levels of the individual will be observed.
The practitioner's role is that of a teacher to empower the individual to become self aware in order to take full control of their own body and therefore reclaim their own wellbeing. To this aim we extend our enquiry into everything which influences this freedom.
Rather than seeing 'disease' as a negative process, a better way would be 'a powerful opportunity to facilitate change and therefore support growth'. We acknowledge that the body does not know how to work against us, it always does the best it can in any given situation. It is from this very positive concept that the healing process can begin.
It is our belief that the healing of dis-ease requires the removal of internally and externally generated stress. Stress impairs the freedom and movement within a person, and ultimately this reduces their response to natural events and cycles. . When we regain this balance then healing can occur.
So how do we do this?
- * The first step is to take a very detailed case history; with this knowledge the facilitator can reveal the journey and path that has brought the client to their present health. This is often the most empowering time for the client as for perhaps the first time they can grasp understanding that explains 'their story'. This is one of the most important steps, and often is noted as the first 'energetic shift' towards their healing.
- * Then, by careful explanation and learning the client will be given information that can arrest any further imbalance and reverse the progression towards health. This will involve an in depth appraisal of the individuals diet, fluid intake and lifestyle, all of these factors will be given consideration as part of the 'whole' picture.
- * To be able to access the passage of toxins and their departure from the body, ancient Naturopathic and Holistic therapies are employed that will support and encourage the body's own natural detoxification systems. The real art is being able to ensure that the cells giving up the toxicity and the passage of them leaving the body is as smooth and comfortable as possible. It is common at this time that the individual really starts to 'listen' and 'hear' their own body perhaps for the first time.
- * To further support the change and ensure that the changes are permanent it is then necessary to address the bio-chemical status of the cells through the use of supplementation
- * Finally the facilitator may also encourage the client to embrace some mental exercises that will develop a more spiritual awareness and strengthen their empowerment.
When beginning to shift long accumulated stagnant toxins from the body, longstanding, congested emotions may also surface, such as anger or deep fears, and this could manifest in daily life, sometimes inappropriately.
It is thus important for the practitioner to make the client aware of these possibilities and that they are an essential and natural part of the toxin elimination, and therefore of the healing process, and that they may need support and understanding as they journey through this process.
Conclusion:
Using diet, techniques and supplementation the healer can help the patient to respond to natural influences. These major influences which cannot be ignored are able to produce more cleansing and change than any practitioner or supplementation. The influences referred to are moon phases, seasonal changes, equinoxes and solstices. No healing happened from a pot of pills. During the healing process the suppression is removed from the patient's body and mind enabling them to reach their full potential as a human being on all levels.
Disease is simply an arresting of this potential
As the individual recovers their health and they witness the symptoms disappear they will also notice a stronger awareness of the self and in many cases perhaps discover their true selves for the first time, recognizing that perhaps even since birth they had never really found themselves. So the whole process or transformation which touches the emotional, physical and spiritual self is an amazing journey that brings many more benefits than just the removal of 'symptoms' but rather a finding of their true self.
What clients say about Natural Nutrition:
"I found Suzie to be so warm, welcoming
and understanding and she made me feel totally at
ease. Not only did the SCIO therapy leave me feeling
more uplifted, I also came away with the knowledge and
understanding of how to improve my health and wellbeing
through nutritional therapy. The treatment 'didn't end
when I walked out of the clinic, Suzie followed up all
that we talked about by sending me a wealth of ideas,
tips and techniques to help me just a few days later.
I am pleased to say that after months of feeling tired and
drained I am now feeling back to my usual self thanks to
Suzie and the help and advice she offered me."

I have been absolutely delighted with the care I have received
at The Melville Clinic. For the last 5 years I have pursued an
interest in Anti-Aging Medicine which I acquired while living
abroad. I realised there's very little of this going on in the
UK right now. How glad I was that while doing a UK internet
search into this The Melville Clinic cropped up & I met Suzie
Thomson. Her use of the amazing Scio apparatus with me & her
subtle guidance through the nutrition maze has helped me stay
on top of my health issues & maintain a positive expectation
that my health will stay good despite the hereditary &
environmental issues that I face on a daily basis. Her natural
approach really suits me & I like the fact that I am able to
see at every visit exactly what my health status is, the
percentage improvement at that visit & pointers where to work
on next. The constant re-motivation keeps me energised &
hopefully physiologically young for my chronological age.
