How does it work?
Micro-pigmentation is a process where natural pigment is placed beneath the epidermis (top layer of skin), into the dermal layer (second layer of skin), by micro insertion.
The pigments used have been specially formulated for cosmetic application. Not to be compared with traditional tattooing, in which permanent skin dyes and inks are placed into the skin.
Does it hurt?
The sensation can be loosely compared to tweezing the eyebrows. For your comfort, a topical anaesthetic is used.
How long will it last?
Can last 2+ years. The colour gradually fades over time, but can last considerably longer with touch ups.
What are the possible side effects?
Allergic reaction to semi permanent make-up up is quite rare.
What will I look like after the procedure?
Immediately after and for the first few days the colour intensity will
appear significantly darker and more intense but will subsequently lighten.
